Disaster Ready Chippewa Valley, Inc., is a tax exempt, non-profit organization formed exclusively for charitable and educational purposes as defined in Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Disaster Ready Chippewa Valley, Inc., was incorporated in the State of Wisconsin in April 2011.
I have been involved with disaster preparedness and planning since the 1970s. I have served on both the Eau Claire and Chippewa County Local Emergency Planning Committees and have received training from FEMA in Incident Command, Public Information and Public Private Partnerships and maintain registry in the Wisconsin Emergency Assistance Volunteer Registry. I have been involved with DRCV since 2009.

In 2007, I assisted Eau Claire County in facilitating a series of private-public partnership events that eventually led to the creation of DRCV. I have continued to provide administrative and coordination support to DRCV since then.
